My background spans from working in local news at CBS-4 in Miami to launching an on-demand video platform for Miami-Dade County in 2006. Started my first company at 25, grew it to 7 figures and led it for 13 years producing content in over 40 countries around the world for global brands – Johnnie Walker, Guinness, Grey Goose, Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises, Shangri La Hotels and Marriott. Co-founded Travelspective, a video discovery platform providing a window into destinations and experiences available on Apple TV and in-room hotel channels in Europe and Asia in 2017. During the pandemic, we launched BRIDGE Networks, a local streaming network for businesses, events, and the local information you should know available on Apple TV, Amazon Firestick, and Roku.Currently working at the intersection of community, media and technology focused on advancing entrepreneurship in underserved communities and building local news infrastructure that unlocks new revenue models. Selected as one of four teams in the American Journalism Project’s Local News Incubator. I’m bullish on the OTT space with connected mobile devices, curated video platforms, and finding innovative solutions for non-profits to scale impact and be sustainable. My vision is to build an intentional video platform that enables people to feel connected to community, wherever they are in the world.     This was a seasonal contract. As P&P Manager, I oversaw the press operations and worked with the marketing & advertising departments. I also managed the production and post production for the 25th edition of the Miami International Film Festival, overseeing 14 videographers & photographers covering over 15 press conferences, 75 plus talent interviews and 20 red carpet events producing videos for digital distribution during the week of the festival. As Print Traffic Coordinator, I coordinated the scheduling of 105-120 films and 250-285 festival screenings and press screenings for this growing festival. Prior to the festival, I was negotiating timetables with various distributors and other festivals all over the country, in Europe and in South America. I had to establish strong relationships with distributors to broker many of the films. I managed a small technical staff that worked with the various movie houses ensuring that the films arrived to each of the venues, played in the proper format and alleviated any technical issues that arose. Throughout my contract, I worked with the Outreach Manager, marketing/sales manager and programming to help them promote the festival to the public and press entities.

From coordinating the programming facilities workflow to creating concepts for governmental outreach, I had the opportunity to be a part of it all. I was an intricate part of the launching of the On-Demand TV station, first video streaming platform at Miami Dade County. I was responsible for all on-air programming and managed the daily television schedules for Miami-Dade TV and managed the duplications center for MDTV.As an editor, I handled audio/visual requests pertaining to public service announcements, news packages and television shows from the Mayor, Board of County Commissioners and 20 governmental departments in Miami-Dade County. I was required to cross-train in all aspects of production which had me technical directing, producing and operating robotic and studio cameras for various productions from time to time.

I primarily edited for the 4-hour morning news block, the noon and the 5 and 6 o’clock broadcasts.
