Cumberland Road ExtensionProject manager for the design and construction of the W. Cumberland Road widening and extension from Broadway to Old Jacksonville Highway. Project included nearly $18 million in concrete pavement, asphalt pavement, water utilities, sewer utilities, stormwater utilities, and construction of three bridges.Annual Pavement Enhancement ProgramsPavement management included the use of Micropaver and a Pavement Condition Index (PCI) ranking (0-100) of all streets within the City of Tyler road network. Manage the annual Seal Coat Program and Asphalt Enhancement Program for the city-wide roadway system. The Seal Coat program ranges in a budget of $300,000 - $400,000 and includes minor base repair, asphalt binder, and aggregate treatment to the road. The Asphalt Enhancement Program ranges in a budget of about $2.5-$3 million and includes curb and gutter replacement, base repair, milling, 1.5-2 inch asphalt overlay, water line replacement, and spot sanitary sewer repairs. Coordination included concrete, masonry, structural metal, carpentry, roofing, finishes, fixtures, electrical, landscape, irrigation, and utilities. Palace, 26th, and GrandProject manager during design and construction for sidewalk, lighting, district signing, roadway and drainage improvements along Palace Ave., 26th Street, and Grand Ave as part of the Texas College Area Development Plan. Fair Plaza Garage Managed the construction of Fair Plaza Garage in historic downtown Tyler, TX as part of the Tyler 21 initiative. Project included 154,650 square feet and 384 parking spaces.

City of El Lago, El Lago, TXCity of El Lago Infrastructure Improvements project includes renovation and replacement of various concrete streets within the city limits.Responsible for engineering services in the construction phase of the project. Attended bi-weekly meetings, provided meeting minutes and addressed issues that may have arose during construction. Holzwarth Road, Spring, TXExtension of existing Holzwarth Road to a 4-lane boulevard from 675-feet north of Emerson Ridge Drive to Spring Stuebner Road. Wrote the Study Report submitted to Harris County Public Infrastructure Department for the 50% and final submission. Performed drainage analysis using HEC-RAS for Wuensche Gully which crosses the proposed alignment. Designed and analyzed ditch system, stormwater system, and storage pond for the project. Wrote and submitted the Drainage Report for approval from Harris County Flood Control. Produced roadway model for project using Geopak Roadway Modeler to produce cross-sections. Grand Parkway Segment D, Fort Bend County, TXExtension of existing Grand Parkway mainlanes from Sandhill Drive to 0.63 miles north of Bullhead Slough. Provided hydrologic and hydraulic analysis for Bullhead Slough for this project section using HEC-RAS for stream analysis. US 190 Reconstruction, Killeen, TX Reconstruction of 3 mile stretch of US 190 included widening of main lanes and reconfiguration of frontage roads, ramps, and major crossings. Responsible for the drainage elements of the project which included analysis of 25 culvert crossings. Performed drainage calculations, analysis, and produced plan and profile sheets and culvert layouts for the 60 percent, 90 percent, and 100 percent submittals. Wrote the drainage reports for the 60 percent and 100 percent submittals.

Airport Way South Viaduct over Argo Railroad Yard, Seattle, WA Airport Way bridge approach replacement project is adjacent to the Argo Railroad Yard. This project replaces the two existing timber bridge approach structures with SE panel walls. Responsible for drainage design on project. Drainage design includes drainage conveyance calculations and layout, water quality treatment facility selection and sizing, temporary erosion and sediment control plans, and preparation of the Stormwater Report. The project also includes channelization, sidewalks, ADA ramps, signing, intersection modifications, utility relocation, fire hydrant systems, illumination, and signal modifications. California High Speed Rail Conceptual Design, San Francisco to San Jose, CA CAHSR is a conceptual study for a 48-mile corridor along the Caltrain Corridor. The future high-speed train will operate at speeds up to 220 miles per hour; the travel time from Los Angeles to San Diego, for example, will be reduced from 2.5 hours to just 75 minutes. Future construction of the High Speed Rail from San Francisco to Los Angeles is estimated about $35 billion. Analyzed alternatives and performed horizontal and vertical alignment design for Caltrain and California High Speed Rail. I-15 CORE Roadway Expansion Project Segment 2, Salt Lake City, Utah Responsible for 15 percent design of conveyance and detention of storm water for this $2.6 billion expansion of the I-15 corridor. Work included evaluating existing conditions, providing detention for the highway and two major crossings within the project limits, coordination of utilities between the Cities and State, determining right of way acquisition, and putting together quantities for cost estimates.
