Responsible for strategic oversight of all Christian Education programs in the church for children and adults, with a primary focus on children. Provided leadership, vision and management of the Christian Education committee. Led curriculum selection and management for preschool through junior high Sunday School classes and Vacation Bible School, including writing and editing resources. Select Accomplishments:•Facilitated a months-long dialogue with parents to understand hopes and goals for their children in the church. •Designed an elementary-grade curriculum that focused on topics of faith and Bible stories noted by parents as being absent or not well addressed in previous curricula. •Implemented a new classroom model of learning for all elementary grades, which led to increased participation of children and teachers.•Initiated the development of Family Ministries, which included children-led worship services, intentional intergenerational gatherings, and increased regular participation of children in worship liturgy.
