Events include the annual Pumpkin Hunt and Winter Wonderland. New events included Twinklefest, which included the production of an interactive map of houses in the community that had christmas lights on display. Community Development: Liaise with external community groups to offer support to their board of directors and assist them with grant application. Grant Writing: General grant writer for the municipality seeking funding opportunities for projects the Town was working on. Of note, recipient of a Canada 150 grant in 2015 for the Revitalization of a historic building as the new home of the Crossfield Municipal Library for $433,000. Economic Development: Assist businesses within the community. Bring awareness to the businesses in the municipality and encourage local buying/support. Recreation - Worked with the Crossfield and District Recreation Board to update their Rec Master plan and create a bylaw, as well as assist with needs in the community. Liased with Rocky View County highlighting the broader needs within the county.
