I am a litigation partner at Katsky Korins LLP – a NYC firm whose size gives us the flexibility to handle the needs of individuals and small businesses as well as larger institutional clients. My practice covers all types and phases of commercial litigation and dispute resolution in the state and federal courts, both at the trial level and at the appellate level. In over three decades of practice, I have litigated cases involving issues of contract, real estate, governance, employment law, business fraud, and a variety of other business torts – covering industries ranging from manufacturing, oil refining, and coal mining to finance, retail, and real estate management and development. What I bring to every case – regardless of size, industry, or the legal issues involved – is a meticulous analytic approach and a skill set based on a depth and breadth of experience both inside and outside the courtroom. I understand the anatomy and trajectory of a litigation, from how best to handle discovery and motion practice, to how to effectively present a case for the trier of fact, to how to strategically package the issues for an appeal. But that same skill set also helps me position cases to reach a negotiated outcome, which is often a better business solution than a litigated one.
