About Adrienne Mau, Aicp
I grew up in the Northern California suburbs of San Rafael. Although 30 minutes north of San Francisco, this bustling section of Marin County has a robust transit system that connected me to San Francisco, Contra Costa, and Sonoma Counties. That meant expanding my travel footprint and unlocking social adventures through a bus pass. Now, getting people moving is the reason I work in the transportation field. Whether by bicycling, walking or taking public transit, I believe that diverse modes of transportation drive economic sustainability and successfully connect people to crucial services. My experience in transportation advocacy and public service, within city government, focuses on uncovering community needs while ensuring the city department responds in an open and understandable way. Leading by example drives my desire to ensure all San Franciscans are able to move throughout the City. This means enhancing transparency when certain policies or projects are introduced and continuing to foster stakeholder relationships.
