Major Responsibilities:-Read redlines and correct plans accordingly-Create AutoCAD drawings from schematic drawings-Draft sections and details of various areas of new construction residential homes-Add detail and notes to make plans more informative to contractors and superintendents-Creating PDF files for plans

2006 Major Responsibilities:-Consistency revisions-Update plans with any new building code changes-Taking a plan from schematics into a fully drafted plan ready for building-Work with local code enforcement and plan approval-Create custom options for homebuyers-Communicate with the purchasing and production staff to update and correct plans for easier and more cost efficient building

The management trainee position involved exposure to the following areas: New home construction as a superintendent, warranty, purchasing, architecture, accounting, mortgage, and sales. I spent anywhere from 1 month to 8 months in each area to fully understand the complete homebuilding process.

Major Responsibilities: -1 of a handful of nationwide candidates selected into program yearly -4 year program in which I was exposed to all of the following aspects of the home building process: -Production -Purchasing -Warranty -Land Development -Mortgage -Sales -Architecture/Design -Finance -Human Resources -Work with each department to understand the responsibilities for each position and was able to fill in for various jobs when needed -Follow and learn the process from start to finish for building a home -Work with all departments to better increase productivity by learning how they work with each other -Act as the in-office IT support for computer training and new software instruction
