Working at a small start-up I get to do many different roles including:- Writing new components for the Enso product in Java and Enso programming language as part of the libraries team.- People leader for the GUI team.- Product manager for the Enso graph editor, managing the product backlog, creating new tickets.- Product evangelist. Managed the Engines and Extensibility teams at Alteryx, totally over 50 developers in 6 teams across Bangalore, Prague, Kiev, Colorado and California. We owned all of the data processing engines in the Alteryx Designer Desktop and Cloud products, as well as the SDKs that allow external developers to extend our product suite.Shared technical knowledge both internally and externally with our customers, via blog posts, community contributions and by gave talks at our internal and external conferences.I was responsible for: - hiring and managing the team; - overall architecture and technical design; - setting and delivering on product roadmaps;- mentoring more junior developers and defining technical standards;- agile practises (scrum/kanban)

Worked as a technical leader on the Engine-As-A-Service component of Alteryx Cloud product. A Go based microservice to make the Alteryx C++ data processing engine usable in a cloud environment.Worked as technical lead on the Alteryx AMP engine from proof on concept to its release. Recruiting and building up two teams of developers in Kiev, Ukraine. Responsible for overall technical direction and architecture. The AMP engine is a massively multi-threaded data processing engine written in C++ with high performance in mind.

Lead engineer on the Alteryx AMP engine project. Designed and built a integration test framework based around the C++ Catch library.

Worked as one of the first developers on the next generation Alteryx engine (https://help.alteryx.com/20213/designer/alteryx-amp-engine). A massively multi-threaded data processing engine written in C++.

Added features to the Alteryx Designer (alteryx.com/products/alteryx-designer) product. Including the Report Map tool which brought the open source MapServer library into the C++ engine behind a GUI written in C#.
