Coordination of the team activities and processes for employees tax issues and authority remittances. Beside of handling different projects with the daily operation which includes more than 20 people reporting to me, daily tasks include but not limited to management reporting, escalations handling, delivery metrics and internal controls. Regular analysis for taxes issues and tax compliance were part of my normal tasks. Manage client’s meetings and situations that might affect the operation, including audits from different authorities (Federal, state and locals).Review and approve tax returns for the different authorities, point of reference for other towers on taxes related field. Also review and approval for different payments (online and paper) for US and Canadian authorities

In charge of the transition and stabilization of several processes from USA to Costa Rica, remittances processes were migrated to Costa Rica, I was part of the team which analyzed the conditions and the processes which could be handled off site. Point of contact and constant meetings with the US taxes management team (living 6 months in Cincinnati).

(2005-2007) Payroll transition from an US account to Costa Rica, in charge of taxes and interfaces (1.5 years). Review, research, analysis and resolution of employee tax issues.(2007-2008) Point of contact for taxes, garnishments, reporting on accounting and treasury for a medium size US account. I transitioned the position back to US as part of the in housing process performed by the outsourced company (6 weeks in Indiana, US).(2008-2009) Point of contact in Costa Rica for payroll in the project to upgrade from People Soft 8.3 to 8.9 (1 year) for payroll, my tasks came from coordination of the local staff, testing and go live to operation’s stabilization.As administrator I have provided outsourcing services to many US Companies, dealing with different tasks within the payroll process: processing payrolls, taxes, reporting garnishments, keeping payroll records, running GL process. Active participation in Year End activities, systems upgrades (PeopleSoft) and transition processes (outsourcing and insourcing). Results oriented.Experience in delivery excellence, team management and internal communications.

I worked in the Global Contract Management department as an analyst, dealing with tender and contract drafting to global key accounts around the world, in daily interaction with Global and Key Account Managers, Pricing Authorities, Sales departments and Regional Route Managers. In the tender department dealing with prices analysis (quotation) for shipping.
