Andre is an Environmental Non-Governmental Organizations enthusiast with 8+ years of professional and 5+ years of organizational experience in end-to-end project management on the circular economy programs. Prior, Andre worked as a Program Manager at the Greeneration Foundation in developing and managing the Bebassampah.id (Zero Waste Indonesia) - an Indonesian national zero waste platform and the IndonesiaCEF.com (Indonesia Circular Economy Forum) - an Indonesian national circular economy platform. While pursuing his professional career, in expanding his public policy and finance knowledge in the environmental field, he partook in several courses, compromising the Australia Awards' Climate Finance Short Course hosted by Griffith University through a 2-week course in Australia and two 3-day workshops in Indonesia, a 9-week course of the Oxford School of Climate Change, an 8-week course of Think Policy Bootcamp, and a 5-week course of YSEALI Summit 2022. Before he underwent his professional experiences, when he was an International Relations and Affairs student, he actively joined as a youth volunteer lead at Greenpeace Southeast Asia and WWF Indonesia. His undergraduate thesis researched the NGO's strategies in advocating the establishment of international legally binding instruments under UNCLOS on the conservation and sustainable use of marine biological diversity of areas beyond national jurisdiction.In enabling his aspiration, Andre is studying MSc Global Environment, Politics, and Society at the University of Edinburgh and joining the Chevening Awards 2023/2024. In his dissertation, Andre researches on 'justice-oriented' financing mechanisms and conditionalities for Indonesia to implement the obligations of the UN Plastic Pollution Treaty.
