About Adson Rocha

Dr. Rocha has finished a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Waterloo in 2019. He holds a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering (2013) from the University of Brasilia (UnB), Master's and Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the Federal University of Goias (UFG), Brazil. He worked as a Software Developer and UI/UX team leader for five years, and since 2011 he works an Assistant Professor at the Goiano Federal Institute, Brazil. As a researcher, he has been working on funded projects related to optimization, artificial intelligence, and user experience/front-end development.List of research interests:User Experience, User Interfaces, Agile Development, Applied Computation, Optimization, Machine Learning.
