Key Delivery in 2013• Quality Management Framework (QMF) – Led the OAM stream of a Directorate wide strategic project delivering a new operational framework and systems for assessment of collections staff. Due to competing priorities across the directorate, my project team led the overarching framework and process design, which then, due to its success, rolled out into all other areas. The framework provides assurance of compliance to policy, conduct and regulation.• Regulatory Footprint Secured Arrears – I designed and led an exercise in identifying all the core regulatory requirements of the secured arrears area. Using SME’s from our internal compliance, audit and regulatory risk areas, coupled with operational managers and local process experts, undertook the business analysis, which identified gaps between regulation and policy and then policy and operational process. With this insight I then developed a programme of change supported by specific governance. This programme is in flight and delivering throughout the remainder of 2013 into early 2014.• Risk Framework – Including RCSA, and identification and tracking of in process risk. Leading the OAM stream for a directorate wide strategic project designing and implementing a new Risk Framework. Providing a core advisory role at a strategic level to ensure that the complexity of regulation around arrears for all retail banking products (Secured and Unsecured) and all master servicer arrangements is catered for and understood. Leading the change team delivering and embedding within all OAM operations to ensure a successful implementation.Role Summary:A core member of and adviser to the OAM senior leadership team, providing subject matter expertise on all areas related to Risk and Regulatory requirements.
