I combine the role of Head of Business Development with that of 'Chief Location Data Officer' working collaboratively with our current and prospective partners and clients to enable to unlock the power of location within their organisations.We work successfully across multiple sectors including banking, insurance, energy and the public sector.My role is to work with our clients and partners to bring innovative and cost efficient geospatial projects and concepts to market, which ultimately deliver real business benefits, improve service offerings and reduce costs. Examples of our current projects include high volume business critical geospatial data analytics and visualisation, location and address data renovation and enrichment, mobile and geofence applications. These applications can be cloud or 'on prem' based and sit within proven Big Data environments. In addition to our market leading add-in for Excel, I am working closely with colleagues and partners to develop and deploy 'geospatial plug-ins' for world leading BI, CRM and Investigative platforms - enabling these widely used tools to leverage location data in a way not previously easy or possible. I was also responsible for taking Mapcite through the Microsoft BizSpark program, proudly becoming the first UK company and one of only 80 worldwide to attain the coveted BiZSpark One status.
