I was responsible for the entire Amazon Supply Chain planning in China, from short term tactical Sales & Operation Planning (S&OP) to long term Capacity and strategic Topology Planning, with a proven track record of applying lean expertise to streamline existing complex planning processes. As a lean expert, I was also responsible for instilling a culture of continuous improvement within the organization by providing training to develop effective problem solving capabilities. I managed 13 team members in the following departments:(a) Sales & Operation Planning (S&OP)• Provided 13 week forecasts for shipments, vendor inbound, transfers in, transfers out, customer returns and vendor returns for all Fulfillment Centers (FC) within the China network to ensure accurate labor planning for both FC and Transportation• Led projects to increase automation and improve forecast accuracy(b) Capacity & Topology Planning• Developed long term capacity plans across the entire fulfillment network in China to determine storage & throughput requirements in each FC and to provide cost effective solutions to meet these requirements• Led benchmarking exercises to identify key improvement opportunities and strategic projects in the areas of inventory placement, FC location and size to maximize customer experience and cost effectiveness • Led projects to improve storage fill rates in the fulfillment network(c) Training & Continuous Improvement• Established an effective and systematic training program to enhance productivity of both new hires and existing team members

I reported to the Site Leader (Senior Director of Operations) of the manufacturing plant in Singapore and was responsible for the continual improvement of supply chain and business processes for all product lines by applying the best practices of Lean Manufacturing. I established stringent Quality standards in Manufacturing by developing Incoming Quality Control (IQC), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Statistical Process Control (SPC) capabilities. In addition, I instilled a culture of continuous improvement within the organization by providing training to develop effective problem solving capabilities and leading Kaizen and Value Stream Mapping workshops.

I managed a team of process engineers to provide dedicated customer support at all customer sites in Singapore and Malaysia, including system installation and warranty support, as well as process improvements and issue resolutions. In addition, I led continuous improvement projects and new product penetration efforts at key customer accounts, including GLOBALFOUNDRIES, UMC12i and TECH.

I specialized in Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD), Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) and metrology processes, and provided dedicated customer support and product expertise at major customer sites, including IBM (Fishkill, New York), Infineon (Kulim, Malaysia) and GLOBALFOUNDRIES (Singapore).
