• Serves as the primary liaison between the university, its students and alumni, and potential employers on a state, regional, national, and international scale.• Responsible for fiscal planning and management for career services, including all operations and staffing matters.• Plan, develop and administer comprehensive Career Development and Employment Assistance Systems that help job seekers get hired quickly including career assessments, action plans, job search strategies and interview skills training.• Develops new contacts with external organizations for the purpose of expanding employment opportunities for students and alumni.• Closely coordinates communication with deans, department chairs, and other faculty to ensure that the career development department is meeting the needs and desires of the academic colleges and departments, within the limitations imposed by the size of the staff and financial support provided by the university.• Provides career advising expertise to students and alumni regarding the job-search process, interviewing, resume, and letter writing, and all other facets of career planning. Conducts workshops, seminars, and other presentations to student, faculty, employer, and alumni groups.

-Managed and direct staff of 50 plus employees in the effective execution of their duties and assist them in the solution of problems. -As a Way Forward Advocate, I trained, motivated and developed team members which improve team cohesiveness and overall performance. -Directed the preparation of operating budgets and proposals for capital expenditure, while trying to minimize company expenses and staying under our annual budget. -Coordinated various aspects of the organization’s compensation and benefit, recruitment, training, organization development, and employee relations programs.

• Assisted the Admissions Director in coordinating several large recruitment events to increase student population. • Assisted in the development of the U-TWO program that focused on increasing student population and increasing retention rates. • Acted as a liaison between students and other departments on campus i.e., Financial Aid, Career Services, and Education, allowing growth of general knowledge in these departments.
