Cyber Security Analyst
CurrentJanuary 2016 - Present• Spearhead the development and execution of comprehensive cybersecurity strategies to protect the organization's critical assets.• Experience in using scanning solutions to gather and review container, database, web application and other vulnerability scans. • Project management skills, including experience with Jira and Service Now ticketing systems or similar• Proficiency in information security concepts, NIST Framework (especially NIST SP 800-53), and information systems design.• Ability to analyze laws, rules, and regulations to articulate policy guidance effectively.• Familiarity with Industry Compliance Standards (SOC 2, IRS Pub 1075, CMS MARS-E 2.2, PCI, CJIS, etc.)• Familiarity with vendor security questionnaires (e.g., Standardized Information Gathering (“SIG”) or other templates for third party assessments• Aptitude for developing plans, policies, and procedures meeting regulatory compliance requirements.• Perform continuous monitoring and analysis of network traffic, system logs, and security alerts to detect and respond to security incidents in real-time.• Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to identify and mitigate potential risks.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance security awareness and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.• Implement and manage security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and endpoint security solutions.• Lead incident response efforts, including investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery.• Analyze and report on the security status of the organization, providing actionable insights to management.
