Adv. Ferha Azeez  is a successful practising lawyer at the High Court of Kerala and also has experience in the field of Human Rights and gender based violence against women,children and LGBTQ+.Besides the law degree,her passion for social works has led to aquire masters in Social Work(MSW(c)) and Master in Law(LL.M) to her credit.She represented India, for the 2023 January cohort of IVLP fellowship program by the dept of state and cultural affairs, USA and fortune enough to have attended multitudes of International conventions and meetings, around the world.She has previously served as a legal associate and projects coordinator at Human Rights Law Network. She has also worked with Cultural Academy for Peace(CAP), in area of handling domestic violence concerns and gender based human rights issues.She is a member of Anti-Ragging Committee CUSAT and also member of Internal Complaints committee(ICC) constituted under Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act 2013 for various organizations. Also authored a book published by Department of Youth welfare,CUSAT on Anti-Ragging.Ferha's hardwork and dedication led her to played significant role in securing land mark judgment.In addition to that she was selected as one of the 16 GBV champion 2021 by U.S Consulate-Chennai. She has conducted various workshops on access to justice, women's rights and strategizing litigation across the country.She received a token of appreciation from Hon'ble Mr. Chief Justice S. Manikumar, High Court of Kerala on Legal Services Day for writing a hand book on Senior Citizens for Kerala State Legal Services Authority in 2020.She actively engages herself in creating public awareness on gender based issues by conducting workshops,webinar and addressing public gatherings. Also campaigns for constitutional literacy and inclusive legal system.As a hobby she love playing Theater.
