Responsible for reviewing and approving budgets for the organization’s events, provide consultancy on future events regarding planning and execution.

Responsible for genomic analysis of fungi including PCR and Gel Electrophorysis. Tasked with completing genetic transformations of fungi.

Observed neurosurgical procedures such as a kyphoplasty and an intervertebral disc excision and become very familiar with standard operating procedures of the operating room. Also gained insight on how to interpret MRI scans of the brain and spinal cord.

Worked with children grades K-5 to help improve their English speaking and reading skills.

Shadowed an endocrinologist and saw various different endocrine cases. Also observed outpatientprocedures including thyroid ultrasounds and thyroid biopsies.

Shadowed an ophthalmologist throughout the day and observed laser eye correction procedures as well as eye exams.

Responsible for slide staining and microscopic necrotic analysis of mouse liver tissue, as well as, consolidation of data from various experiments into presentations. Organized lab equipment and samples and maintained records.

Rounded with residents and attending physicians on the Gastrointerology floor. Observed inpatient and endoscopic procedures, and shadowed outpatient IBD Clinic.

Helped with set up and break down of events, served food and drinks, interacted with patrons, planned social gatherings for patrons.
