Project: Sears commercial (www.searscommercial.com), Sears B2BTechnology: Ruby 2.2, Rails 4.2, AngularJS 2, MySQL, GIT, Jenkin, Splunk New Sears Commercial site is a B2B service operation focused on providing solutions that drive long term business results for industrial, commercial, real estate, government and non-profit organizations. Developed admin tool application that helps customer care agents to manage accounts and orders. They can place orders on behalf of customers with better price and discount.Sears B2B eCommerce platform provides well defined set of API service to the B2B partners to display and sell Sears products. Also offers an order management portal to access Sears’s product content and manage post order services. Key Responsibilities:• Design and Development of restful API based Application. • Database design and development.• Laid out the Architectural design of backend code with data model.• Integrated with downstream systems like Order management system, solr, shipping and tax calculation services, SalesForce etc.• Migration of data from old SAP application.• Created background jobs to populate product catalogs and order feed updates.• Feature to define custom price for commercial product in Admin Toolbox.• Provide solutions for critical problems and resolved them by taking ownership.• Implemented Home delivery functionality.• Migration of background jobs from ruby to NodeJs to speed up the execution.• Implemented account receivable payment mode for the business.• Developed order buffering functionality that helps client to buffer orders for few hours before processing for fulfillment.• Troubleshot & do root cause analysis of production issues and bug fixes..• Integrated the splunk log monitoring application into the platform codebase resulting in high transparency and visibility into API usage and production defects pattern to the engineering team
