Following my background in Industrial Engineering and Management I have accumulated vast experience both in process areas (Production, Sales, Technology, ICT, Finance, HRM) and roles within companies (Business Consultant, Project Leader, Program Manager, Team Leader, (Interim) Manager, Director and (Co-)Owner of Companies). I have access to lots of knowledge, excellent analytical skills and a good set of skills to work with people individually and on team level on all levels in organizations. Moreover, I learn easily and fast.I am driven by developing organizations, helping them in the realization of their dreams and visions, but always starting with the first step. I have done this for a long time as a external consultant, project manager or interim manager, but in 2010 I have chosen to change my role to manager or director: being responsible for and feeling the pressure of short term results and developing at the same time.I am a strong advocate of empowerment: it all starts and ends with the people in the organization. I believe people are motivated, willing to learn and very well capable of managing their own work. I can guide them (finding the right direction), support them (clarifying processes and building better systems) and coach them (by being the mirror for individuals and teams). By sticking to this principal of investing in people I have been very successful over the years in all settings.
