Flown in from Los Angeles to resolve an IT crisis, weeks past deadline, many thousands of dollars over budget; equipment purchased and delivered, boxes opened but NOTHING was working properly. Within two weeks all systems were up and running. Installed, setup and configured office LAN and web servers using Windows 2000 Server with Active Directory. Setup 96-port Ascend Pipeline router and deployed software across network for full operation of a dial-up ISP. Created individual client and/or product database for each direct response campaign, including detailed media tracking, merchant payment processing systems and gateway. Setup and deployed network-wide call center software, including daily maintenance and editing of sales representative's scripts, prompts, sales-flow and objections screens; as per the ongoing needs of each campaign. On call 24/7 to provide maintenance and administration of all computer, network and call center hardware and software.

Worked directly with the late Miguel Contreras and former Speaker of the Assembly, Fabian Nuñez; constructed an entirely new internal LAN at the LACOUNTY FED main offices, setup and configured file server, print server, web server and 28 LAN workstations throughout the building. Deployed software solutions across the network and installed “unions” database on file server. Advised and made specific contractor bid and equipment sourcing recommendations to Miguel Contreras regarding the construction of a 150 position, predictive dialing outbound call center for telephone banking. Implemented e-commerce enabled websites and on-line fundraising campaigns.

Multimillion dollar annual IT budget, managed over 50 employees; designed, developed and implemented 160 individual LANs, a WAN linking all 160 locations to the central office domain, and a corporate intranet. In charge of purchasing and asset acquisition, as well as network-wide deployment of utilities, solutions and applications. Generated daily reports to Executive Director, monthly reports to Board of Directors; and annual departmental reports for audits by multiple funding sources.

CEO of the in house Advertising Agency for One Stop Immigration and Educational Center. $1.5M annual billing with inbound/outbound call center. Managed all aspects of advertising campaigns, including production and post-production, media testing, television, radio and print media buy; as well as operation of call center to successfully capture and convert prospects into students of the One Stop Immigration and Educational Center Adult Education program.Created and developed direct response campaigns which ran statewide for over three years on Spanish language media, reaching and converting over 150,000 prospects into students. Determined geographic expansion and the opening of new service centers based on media response data. Fueled growth from six locations within the City of Los Angeles, to over 160 Educational Centers throughout the State of California.

Community outreach at the grass roots level, recruitment and registration of undocumented workers who met the conditions of the 1986 Immigration Reform and Control Act (IRCA 86' - Amnesty). Activities included door-to-door cold canvasing in hundreds of communities throughout northern and southern California. Also registering qualified persons at super markets, strip malls, fast food restaurants and other public places; as well as mass registration events organized in conjunction with unions, churches and other community based organizations.
