After 25 years as a professional rock drummer, travelling Europe with several Dutch bands, I ‘calmed down’ and started working as a media specialist. Starting of as a (new) media consultant. Now operating as editor in chief and concept maker on multi media projects. In 2006 my department and me won the Prix Italia with the Kassa website; a multi media and cross media project that reaches more than one and a half million people a month. In 2007 I advised other public broadcasters in several European countries on the possibilities of building multi media projects involving communities. Since 2008 I advised on several new communities like 'Hallo' (Kamer van Koophandel) and 'Collectiewijzer' (OCW), presenting workshops and appearing as a guest lecturer on several universities. In 2010 the focus was on marketing the community and web only video! In summer 2010 the music returned, joining the music theatre show of my daughter. We performed at 'De Parade', the biggest theatre event in the Netherlands. Since than I have been advising the University of Twente and ArtEZ (school of arts, dance and theatre) on their new websites, portals and internet strategy. Recently I became coordinator at Prix Europa in Berlin for the Online Category.Specialties: Building multi media platforms, getting people together, creative concepts, marketingtools, branding, new media, copywriting, crossmedia content specialist....and drumming of course
