The Foundation was established in May, 1970, by a group of individuals who wanted to enhance the educational opportunities for students at Slippery Rock University. Through the dedicated efforts of its board of directors, volunteers and staff, and with the generous contributions of thousands of individuals and organizations, Slippery Rock University Foundation, Inc. has grown exponentially in its ability to supplement the educational opportunities within Slippery Rock University.

Advocace is a privately held partnership based near Dallas, Texas with consultants in Columbia, South Carolina, Pittsburgh, PA and Grand Rapids, Michigan. The firm is currently working with Christian broadcasters, schools, colleges, rescue missions and foreign missions agencies to help them grow donor income by improving donor communications and major gifts programs, as well as helping them with strategy development and coaching.

Managed the efforts and personnel of Grove City College's Development Office. Responsible for major gifts, annual giving, planned giving, foundation and corporate relations - individually as well as in cooperation with the efforts of the Development Team and the College President. Instrumental in completing the $68 million Change & Commitment campaign and in achieving the now completed Grove City Matters campaign of $95 million on a $90 million goal. Campaign and special project fundraising in addition to annual, consistent giving. Grew and managed an all-star 7 member team.
