Hello, My name is Aaron Dexter Sims. I’m an illustrator with professional experience and training in various other fields. I do illustration, concept design, creative strategy, and copywriting. I also have management experience, experience in finance, and twelve years of sales and customer service experience. In July of 2024, I graduated from the University of Arizona Global Campus Forbes School of Business with a Bachelor of Arts in marketing. I graduated Cum Laude with a GPA of 3.54. My education in the marketing field also includes valuable training in business statistics on Microsoft Excel, as well as database development and management on Microsoft Access. My education includes integrated marketing communications (IMC), marketing research, international marketing, microeconomics, business law, advertising, digital marketing, web development, visual communications, and art. My training as an artist began in Chicago, Illinois, in various art programs such as the BAC School of Fine Arts, Chicago State University, and Gallery 37, where I received education and training in multidisciplinary courses. I’m proficient with creative software applications, such as the applications offered with the Adobe Suite. My previous roles within other career fields have been the perfect training apparatus. My experience with Impact Detroit Magazine has helped me to develop professional communication and networking skills. As a banker for US Bank, I developed my skills in banking, finance, business, investment banking, accounting, legal interpretation, and database management. My experience at Peloton, Xperience Fitness, and within the fitness industry was crucial in the development of my managerial skills and customer service skills.
