Placed at the University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Economics, I was responsible for teaching my own university-accredited course while serving as a cultural diplomat of the United States. I also provided pedagogical and academic program support for other English professors of the Faculty of Economics.

Kosovo

Under an agreement with Kosovo's Ministry of Education, Science and Technology (MEST), my primary role is to promote and develop new teaching methods and pedagogical approaches in collaboration with my Kosovar counterparts. In addition to working closely with Kosovar teachers, my responsibilities include implementing community and youth development projects outside of the classroom.

Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe Reservation/ Norwalk, Ct Office

During the summers, my main role was to lead volunteer groups at one of our project sites on the Cheyenne River Sioux Tribe Reservation. At our headquarters in Norwalk, CT, I manage one of our contribution programs using Classy, a platform for peer-to-peer fundraising, and Virtuous, a database and communications system. The contribution program I managed allowed donors to pledge their birthdays to our organization, allowing the pledger to campaign and fundraise on our behalf. My position also entails developing the program so that we can attract and recruit more donors.

My position was focused on data collection, leading/coordinating events, and helping maintain domestic and international community partnerships.

John Winthrop Elementary School

The Academic Mentoring Program (AMP), funded by the Zimmerman Foundation, is designed to encourage middle school students to maintain academic success with the support and assistance of college students. My main role was to supervise and oversee all mentors and mentees to ensure that the program was running efficiently. I also attended weekly program development meetings with other program coordinators.
