A graduate of Concordia University Irvine, in Mass Communications. I am from from Minden, NV, about 20 minutes from South Lake Tahoe, where I have the unique pleasure of both living on a ranch and spending time on the lake. I worked as the Campus Editor for the university’s student-led newspaper, the Concordia Courier, where I edit, write, meet deadlines, and conduct interviews to deliver credible and relevant news to the entire Concordia community. I also work as the Marketing, Communications, and Connect Coordinator for abbey west, the ministry group on campus, where I coordinate social media postings and print materials, organize and execute group events, and connect with my team on a regular basis. Off-campus experience includes my summer work with Weidinger Public Relations based in South Lake Tahoe. My experience consisted of growing media-coverage knowledge, celebrity/influencer outreach, large-scale event execution, press release drafting, deadlines, clear communication, and flexibility. I have assisted in the media room of the largest media-covered event in Tahoe, the American Century Championship Celebrity Golf Tournament. My Dreu Murin Productions experience focused on event planning, coordination, and execution within the community of South Lake Tahoe, including the famous tourist destination, The Heavenly Village and Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.
