Perform extensive repair and diagnostics of various software and hardware platforms including but not limited to Windows XP, Windows 2000, Windows NT, and Windows 95/98. Also troubleshoot issues concerning all published software used. I held this position in the College IT Department during my time as a student. Was hands on training, and the most valuable training I ever received.Maintained computers and network components for college staff and administration by installing or re-installing operating systems for faculty workstations, installed all software applicable to individual needs. Installed and maintained printers and other peripheral devices. Rebuilt both servers and workstations using either hardware or software updates as needed. Ran category 5 cable and built category 5 jacks. Minimal experience with fiber splicing. Connect Colorado program & CCCOES statewide network.
