Responsibilities include writing technical reports, ALARA reviews, survey and release plans, and radiological work permits.

Responsibilities of this position include compiling each issue in InDesign, overseeing all other positions, communication with campus administration and oversight of EIC email, and facilitating structural change to improve organization as a whole. Previously, I also served as copy editor, layout editor, and assistant editor.

Obtained the position of research assistant through the Research Experiences for Undergrads (REU) program funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF). Worked under advisor Dr. Seth Jacobson examining initial conditions of planetary formation simulations. Analyzed simulation data with Python, and used Fortran to generate initial condition files for simulations.

Prospect

The PROSPECT experiment is currently building a detector in order to study the reactor antineutrino spectrum as well as prove or disprove the existence of sterile neutrinos. My responsibilities include assisting with the mechanical side of things (cleaning and preparing parts of the detector) as well as data analysis.
