As the CEO, we entered into a strategic partnership with Private Equity to enhance the company's growth and market presence, a decision that catalyzed a series of transformative actions. This collaboration led to significant organizational changes, including Private Equity members on the Board of Directors, ensuring a blend of experienced oversight and fresh insights. Recognizing the need for dynamic leadership to steer the new direction, the company onboarded a new CEO alongside a seasoned senior leadership team, all tasked with executing a meticulously crafted strategic plan.The partnership proved to be a catalyst for expansion, facilitating nine add-on acquisitions that significantly broadened the company's product offerings. Two of these acquisitions were skillfully combined and successfully spun off to Private Equity, demonstrating strategic divestiture and investment acumen. This period of aggressive growth was marked by an international expansion into key markets, including Japan, China, and the U.K., establishing a robust global footprint.Underpinning these strategic moves was a focus on financial performance, significantly bolstered by internal investments and an ambitious acquisition program. The results were undeniable, leading to a remarkable culmination 7 years post-partnership: the sale of the company to the public entity, NYSE: ATS Corp. In 2012, I embarked on one of the more challenging yet rewarding adventures of my life as a founding member of Team Bright Eyed USA, participating in the iconic Budapest-Bamako: Great African Run. This grueling on-road and off-road rally is not just a test of endurance and navigation skills across demanding terrains; it's a profound journey of heart, connecting diverse cultures and supporting charitable causes along the way.My team of four drove our British rally equipped 1995 Toyota Land Cruiser from London to Budapest to cross the "starting line" in Hero Square, downtown Budapest. We raced on-road and off-road through Hungary, Slovenia, Italy, Monaco, and Spain. With no rescue helicopters, tow trucks, translators, lawyers, or tour guides, we ferried to Morocco to continue the race that felt mostly off-road through the mountains and desert of Morocco, then down Western Sahara into the land mind-filled No Man's Land, the seemingly endless dunes of Mauritania, vast savanna of Senegal, and dense jungle of Guinea-Bissau to cross the finish line 23rd in the capital city of Bissau on live national TV. It was a life-changing 10,000 km adventure to raise money for West African Vocational Schools.

Our movie starred Fionnula Flanagan and Seymour Cassel was directed by Tatjana Najdanoic and written by Jeffrey James Ircink. I founded this company. An early innovator in developing Windows 3.x music software. Our NKey product line was licensed extensively to Adlib, Turtle Beach, Diamond Multimedia, Orchid Tech, Cimca Media, MIDI Land and others. Sold by Babbages, Electronic Boutique and other retail stores. Our software was bundled broadly with soundcards. Chinese version was successfully sold with keyboards in Taiwain. We developed and marketed a line of VBX development tools focused for multimedia developers. I authored chapters on multimedia software coding techniques for a variety of books, authored articles for various developer magazines and presented on the topics at conferences like COMDEX.

After attending RECW, built an analog multitrack studio. Clients were regional bands, choirs, radio commercials, audio recording students and guitar students.I made extensive use of computers. Beta tester for many early software products including Cakewalk 1.0 and Quickbooks 1.0 for DOS. Based on work I was doing in the studio, I wrote and licensed NKey, a music improv program.

We were paid to play corporate, colleges, clubs, weddings, reunions, festivals. Snuck in our originals when we could. Helped put a variety of members through college. Never played for free. We performed from Oshkosh, WI to Louisville, KY.

I grew up on a chinchilla ranch in Wisconsin. My parents had over 1,000 chinchillas which we raised for fur.Tastes like...frog legs.
