I worked under the supervision of the Layout and the Development Engineers on a number of Pixel designs for Time of Flight (TOF) cameras. Not all of the parameters in the designs could be simulated, which meant that several iterations of each design had to be made with these parameters swept over a given range. I rewrote the designs in Cadence SKILL such that the designs would dynamically adapt to the passed parameters. These dynamic cells reduced the number of hours the layout engineer spent making minor manual changes and sped up the transition from design to fabrication. Next, I rewrote a Python script to determine the optimum configuration of a solid-state LIDAR chip for a particular application. The script gathered distance data and produced a report for further analysis. Finally, I extended a series of Python scripts to interact with a new evaluation board for a Time of Flight (TOF) camera. I then proceeded to design an experimental setup to gather data from the TOF camera to determine the viability for a new use case.

I analyzed and determined the causes for inaccuracy in demand forecast models for a particular region. Next, I implemented trend and seasonality analysis in Excel to produce new demand forecasts and prepared an action plan to eliminate the bullwhip effect in the supply chain. Finally, I developed fully automated Excel workbooks using Visual Basic Advanced (VBA) to increase employee productivity.
