I advise and represent insurers in a variety of third-party and first-party insurance coverage matters arising under commercial general liability, business owners, professional liability, auto, property, and umbrella policies. I assist clients throughout the life of their claims, including evaluating coverage and risk transfer issues, preparing coverage analyses, drafting reservation of rights and coverage position letters, and pursuing declaratory judgment actions.I also defend businesses in a variety of litigation matters, including construction litigation, premises liability, and transportation negligence, in state and federal jurisdictions throughout Illinois. I handle all phases of litigation, have tried multiple cases to verdict, and have represented clients on appeal.I currently serve as vice-chair of FMG's Midwest Insurance Coverage practice team.I am a member the Illinois Defense Counsel, where I currently serve as the Chair of the Insurance Law Committee.I am also a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and have been appointed to serve on the Insurance Law Section Counsel for the consecutive years 2021-2024.
