As an executive leader and strategist, I’ve translated vision into positive impact since I began my career with the U.S. Senate Special Committee on Aging. Throughout my career, I've merged vision, strategy, and action to transform the national aging services landscape. As the founding executive of the national Continuing Care Accreditation Commission (CCAC, now CARF) and the LeadingAge Leadership Academy, my work lives on through recognized best practices as well as development of future leaders for the aging services sector.Currently, I serve as the President and CEO of Collington, A Kendal Affiliate, a life plan community located in Maryland just outside Washington D.C. During my tenure, I've led the community through significant transformation, supporting residents and team members during the COVID pandemic while working the Collington board and delivering outstanding results on a five-year strategic plan to reposition the community for long term success.Previously, I was the President and CEO of Envision Impact, a consulting firm providing strategic counsel and services to future focused organizations across the public, private and not-for-profit sectors. Prior to that, I was Chief Strategy Officer for Asbury Communities, having served as trustee for the organization for several years. In addition to creating and delivering a strategy to expand its multi-site senior living system, launching a $5M home care business and executing a strategic plan for 2,500 employees that enhanced the quality of care for its 3,300 clients. In 2008, I launched a new business line for Booz Allen, delivering high-level, strategic government and not-for-profit consulting.
