Supporting the coordination of Teen Council, Teen Nights, High School Theatre Festival, and The School of Theatre Summer School Programming.

Serving as Dramaturgical Leader alongside Dr. Philipa Kelley and Nick Musleh, my role will be to support the development of the Dramaturgical University @ Marin Shakes, providing real-time dramaturgical training to budding theatre scholars. We will also be supporting the growth of the Kaleidoscope Speaker Series as well as serve as led dramaturgs for season Productions. As Associate Artists, we will also be guiding the programmatic and policy shifts launching Marin Shakespeare into its next chapters alongside Artistic Director Jon Tracy!

As a passionate participant in the birthing of new work for the stage, I serve as a hub between the artists and the teams that make their art. Working closely alongside the Literary Manager and the Executive Artistic Director, this role allows me to engage in dramaturgical analysis, new work development, casting processes, event planning and management, as well as team development.

As a creative consultant, I hold the mental health, community health, and creative health of a production's diverse team of artist at the forefront of a process. With a goal of disallowing elements of urgency culture while producing new work to dismantle a team's commitment to one another's humanity. Offering trainings in support of setting community intentions, attending rehearsals as a bridge between a production team and an HR team, holding space for artists to decompress between and during rehearsals, offering resources for system regulation to teams as they arise, and support conversations around potential content and/or trigger warnings a production might need. My eye is only on team care so that the artists can be liberated in their creative explorations.

As a founding faculty member of this charter school, I developed award winning curriculum, guided the growth of our department through active recruitment, founded the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee, writing our five step accountability plan and presenting it to our board of directors, served on Contra Costa County Office of Education Arts Commission, and deepened relationships with community partners.

 Lead over 100 assemblies and classroom presentations for Pre-School to 12th grade students on zero waste and water pollution prevention Play key role in Food to Flower’s school composting program, which is a national model for collecting green waste at schools with over 10,000 students reached annually Collect and analyze data to identify program and curriculum effectiveness for Department funders and partners Develop research methodology, administer surveys, and provide analysis and recommendations from results Assist with the development, writing, and updating of curriculum, school database, as well as department publications and website Conduct waste assessments and write detailed reports for private school administrators and SF Unified School District department heads Observations influenced increase of school district’s diversion rate from 61% to 65%, with some site increases >10%  Co-train incoming staff on classroom presentations and professional writing Represent the department at staff trainings, community events, and delegations Spoke on behalf of the department programming at stake holder meetings with Recology, SF Public Utility Commission, SF Unified School District, and the SF Science, Stewardship, and Sustainability Collaborative Gave tours and program overviews to international delegations and domestic visitors Co-plan successful public and internal departmental events, such as workshops and award ceremonies.

At the JET Theatre, I serve as a key player in the presentation of six mainstage shows, two visiting attractions, and three touring outreach production. When not performing as an actor in two of the three touring shows, I work behind the scenes writing grants, leading social media marketing initiatives, creating and editing PR advertisements and press releases, painting sets,balancing and closing box office revenues, and assisting in the planning of fundraising events which have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for our non-profit theatre. I have been wardrobe for two mainstage shows, house managed for the 400- seat Berman Center for the Performing Arts, and assistant stage managed for the Midwest premiere of Matthew Lopez's 'The Whipping Man.'

Responsible for designing and implementing course curriculum in several theatre and dance technique.Served as assistant choreographer for summer production of Children of Eden.

Designed and implemented course curriculum in African American Literature to third through fifth grade students, as well as leading extracurricular instruction in theatre and movement improvisation.Co-led community meetings discussing solutions to cradle to prison pipeline paradigms within under resourced communities, creating actionable literacy based solutions for parents and community leaders.

Designed and administered the Musical Theatre Dance Program for students 3rd through 8th grade in under resourced communities.Delivered detail reports of program's success and challenge to site administrators.Engaged parents and community leaders in the mission and work of the Renzi Center.
