That's why I've been in the field of software since 2014, working on a range of different challenges faced by large organizations in both the construction and retail industries.The possibility to imagine a solution and turn it into reality in a short period of time is part of what makes software such an impactful field in the last few decades.But that doesn't mean that software is always making a difference.We're constantly being bombarded by new solutions, new services and business models.In the media we're often being sold on the idea that the pace of change and improvement is going up.Despite this, the amount of real progress across industries has been slow. The improvements that are made are often competed away quickly.We at Heads believe that retail software can be improved dramatically, to provide higher levels of automation, insight and efficiency. We believe that there are important problems that if solved can serve to boost the business of Retail greatly.So what have we done? Since 2003 we've invested in building a platform for Retail, based on a patented in-memory database technology.
