Md Amimul Ehsan Khan is a driven young leader passionate about Sustainable Development, and Gender Equality. Amimul commenced his journey at the award-winning youth-led global nonprofit Awareness 360 in 2018 and was one of the 6 Star Members of the entire cohort for his outstanding performance as an aspiring changemaker. Furthermore, for his exemplary work through 11+ impactful projects advancing the UN SDGs, he was recognized as the “Member of the Year,” and as a reward was invited to participate and represent Awareness 360 in a TEDx event in Malaysia. He has worked with multiple hard-to-reach communities through more than 30 social action projects, thereby enhancing his leadership and project management skills. He has been recently promoted to a Senior Regional Officer, taking charge of the functional departments, and directly leading interns from around the world at Awareness 360. For his sustainable development efforts through Awareness 360, he received The Diana Award in 2022.Besides his leadership and community work, Amimul has also excelled in academics portraying exceptional qualities as an international student, earning him the Student Ambassador position at his university. He is currently a 3rd-year student at Tokyo International University (TIU), Japan, pursuing his Bachelor’s degree in International Relations. He occasionally writes for magazines and newspapers to share his unique experiences with the broader world. In his spare time, he focuses on his YouTube channel "Khan In Japan" sharing various educational, travel as well as entertainment content for his virtual community.
