I leverage my experience in communications, public relations and digital marketing to create and execute strategic media campaigns for clients that align with their purpose-driven missions. At Ro-Bro, I collaborated with multiple clients directly, leading campaigns from strategy through execution, changing direction as necessary. I developed and maintained media and influencer relationships for local, regional and national corporate and non-profit clients, including health & wellness, CPG, restaurant, retail and spirits brands. As needed, I acted as brand representative and spokesperson for consumer experiences and media appearances. For one CPG client, I worked directly with the marketing team to implement the product's launch in three national markets, secured dozens of national and local sponsorships and ambassador partnerships, created and captured unique content, and executed two owned events. In Chicago, I assisted with the coordination of the openings of four local establishments, provided strategic guidance, and managed media relations.

After officially joining the company, my responsibilities still included writing and editing, uploading and posting to the FFC website, organizing and coordinating staff, and regularly communicating with people both in and outside the company on a regular basis. I was also in charge of all FFC social media channels, creating original and SEO-driven content, and analyzing the effectiveness of the channels and campaigns.

During my time as intern, I was responsible for writing and editing copy for the website and member communications, learning to upload and organize posts on our website using WordPress, organizing and coordinating staff for company and community events, and communicating with people both in and outside the company on a regular basis.

As banquet captain, my responsibilities included constantly communicating with front of house banquet, restaurant and management staffs, as well as back of house kitchen staff, to ensure prompt and efficient service. I also made sure events ran smoothly and according to our guests' expectations, to guarantee and exceed customer satisfaction.

Between Harry's Bar and Grill, The Knick and NSB Bar and Grill, I worked in almost every capacity, primarily management. I oversaw, scheduled, and mediated front and back of house staffs, acted as a brand representative for the company, and ensured the highest quality customer service for our guests by communicating with them to understand and better fulfill their needs.

My time with the Exchange began as a researcher, updating their local directory of businesses, farms and specialty service providers. From there I freelanced for the magazine, a locally produced publication, writing stories ranging from sperm banks to global warming to biking and eating local in winter to various forms of art therapies. I communicated with experts across the country and shared valuable information that mainstream news doesn't always cover.

As a server in this setting, I was responsible for getting to know the members in a personable, friendly manner while maintaining a professional presence and fulfilling their needs and wishes. I learned the menu inside and out, was able to recommend dishes and drinks, accommodate special requests, provide excellent service for membership and outside parties, and keep a smile on my face in the unique, fast-paced environment that is a country club.
