Reservoir Engineer Specialist supporting company assets in Egypt. Job responsibilities are to:- Construct and update dynamic black oil and compositional reservoir models for field development planning.- Review and issue annual reserves report and generate long-term forecasts for business planning and drilling/workover schedule.- Identify opportunities for maximizing HC recoveries by evaluating well results and contributing to well planning, formation evaluation, and WRM plans/activities during all stages of the field life-cycle, from appraisal strategy planning through early and mature field redevelopment to field or segment scale and well and reservoir optimization.- Identify and recommend target reservoirs/reservoir layers and determine well-reservoir contacts for new/replacement vertical/deviated/horizontal drill projects to optimize field development.- Contribute to the well proposals/prognosis.- Participate in preparing detailed integrated development plans for undeveloped hydrocarbon resources.- Participate in Field annual reviews.- Recommend Reservoir Engineering data acquisition and QA/QC Reservoir Engineering data, maintain Reservoir Engineering databases.- Develop and prepare post-drill Reservoir Engineering reports integrating the interpreted Reservoir Engineering data with Geological and Petrophysical evaluation.- Manage the reservoir engineering data of the fields according to company standards.- Team member of a multi-disciplinary team. Participate in discipline activities to enhance sustainable production and reservoir engineering capabilities.- QA/QC geological data and maintain reservoir engineering databases.

Led a team responsible for the integrated reservoir studies, field management, development planning, and reserves maturation through all the company assets in UAE, Egypt, and Kurdistan. Participated in new business development activities and asset valuation for various assets worldwide.Accomplishments:- Led the Kurdistan assets’ Field development planning activities to unlock multi-billion dollars’ worth of value from Khor Mor and Chemchemal fields. The plan led to increasing the production by 50%.- Provided an alternative survival plan to mitigate the post-drilling risks in the company’s major offshore asset in the UAE.- Delivered 10+ integrated reservoir studies across all the assets and 20+ asset valuations for various opportunities worldwide within a very demanding timeframe.- Programmed and managed an automated data gathering and analysis system using Python.

During this work period, my role was the Reservoir Engineering Team Lead responsible for the Reservoir Engineering domain services in the Schlumberger Information Solutions SIS, my work responsibilities: - Develop and lead a team of reservoir engineers to support Schlumberger reservoir engineering software for the whole middle east region - Assure high-quality software support and gather feedback related to software enhancement requests - On-site consultations and support - Teach software and technical courses for the reservoir engineering domain - Lead and participate in multi-discipline studies and consulting projects, especially the advanced subjects such as dual porosity and dual permeability simulation models, compositional PVT fluid models, saturation height models, multiple reservoir coupling, history matching, and prediction using advanced experimental design tools - Responsible for designing and demonstrating innovative solutions in simulation technologies such as Assisted History matching, Risk estimation and Uncertainty analysis, Integrated Asset Modelling, and Waterflood optimization - Leading the deployment, testing, support, and deployment of new high technology tools such as INTERSECT high-resolution reservoir simulator and Geo-Screening - Provide the software developers with feedback on any outstanding software issues and build a pipeline to future enhancements that tackle new industry challenges - Mature innovative ideas for services and projects - Support sales team in building software sales pipelines - Provide the engineering support for sales opportunities creation and maturation - The focal point for Reservoir Geo-Mechanics services in Egypt.

During this work period, I was a member of the technical consultation team based in Cairo and responsible for the company services in Egypt, the USA, Qatar, and Oman. My accomplishments are: - Field development planning of Farha South and Saiwan East fields in Oman for CC Energy in 2011. The FDP led to increasing the production from 500 BOPD to 14000 BOPD. - Successful mature asset evaluation and rejuvenation plan of Mexico’s Altamira heavy oil field that led to successful service contract award for Cheiron Energy followed by achieving production peak (9 times increase of the base production) after the successful implementation of the rejuvenation plan in 2012. - Successfully developed two technical courses (Applied Reservoir Engineering and Capillary Pressure) for Petroleum Development Oman (PDO).

Starting my career at Scimitar Production Egypt Ltd., I embraced the complex challenges of heavy oil fractured carbonate reservoirs at the Issaran Oil Field. This pivotal role enhanced my skills in optimizing field performance and economic outcomes.▪ 𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬: Led reservoir characterization and modeling for strategic field development. Optimized thermal recovery for heavy oil projects, including several SAGD initiatives. Implemented a monitoring system for over 300 wells, enhancing operational efficiency.▪ 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐀𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬: Reduced development wells by 65% through optimal well spacing in the Dolomite reservoir. Significantly improved recovery factors and field economics in the Zeit Sand reservoir with CSS and steam flooding. Developed a data management tool for intensive operations monitoring, improving process efficiency.▪ 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐝 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬: Participated in field operations like fracture and acid stimulation, and production logging.
