Kaleidoscope is a research platform designed for planning and tracking scientific work across wet lab and computational teams and integrates with the modern research stack.We're building Kaleidoscope in order to make scientific research more collaborative, reproducible, and scaleable.

I started almond.digital with David Yen to solve problems in healthcare and it evolved into a product consultancy. I’ve helped companies with product exploration, software engineering, building teams, and project management & delivery. Companies like:• Probably Genetic, where I built the secure system that enables patients to discover rare genetic causes for their illnesses. This included integrations with testing labs and physicians and a pipeline for ordering tests, getting DNA samples, and delivering results.• Living Optics, where I architected the distributed infrastructure and Machine Learning pipeline (with a GAN) to reconstruct hyperspectral images from data captured by their camera. We then hired a team and I managed the delivery of an application demo.• Alma, which we took from an idea for a new kind of space for therapy to launch in six months. After we created a product spec and roadmap, I built the entire platform from the ground up including HIPAA-compliant scheduling, invoicing, and payments.• Ribbon, where I architected an app for a new home-buying experience and with their engineering team, built and launched it in two months. I gave guidance on best practices, product direction, and the technical roadmap. They’ve since fundraised $500 million.

In 2016, Socratic won the Best AI in Education Award at the CogX AI Awards and Google Play’s App of the Year.I led product and engineering efforts on: • Growing the Socratic.org platform from thousands of monthly page views to millions in two years. Today, students have turned to Socratic.org hundreds of millions of times. • Bringing step-by-step math explanations to the Socratic app with one intern I recruited. We open-sourced our math engine and today it has more than 1500 stars on Github. • Bringing the Socratic experience to Android and internationalizing it to 6 languageswhile managing the project, contractors, and team remotely.

I briefly joined Google out of university and left to join the founding team at Socratic. In 2019, I consulted with Socratic@Google on a novel product exploration in learning.
