As an assembler at Bremont Watch Company, I was responsible for undertaking every step in the creation of a Bremont timepiece, from assembly to regulation, testing and inspection. Over three and a half years, I developed extensive experience with industry-leading calibres, including variations on the ETA 2824, 2892 and Valjoux 7750, and received training in the operation of the Roxer MAAI CN8 hand-setting machine, Aquapress and Natator 40, and Witschi Micromat C, Chronoscope M10 and… Show more As an assembler at Bremont Watch Company, I was responsible for undertaking every step in the creation of a Bremont timepiece, from assembly to regulation, testing and inspection. Over three and a half years, I developed extensive experience with industry-leading calibres, including variations on the ETA 2824, 2892 and Valjoux 7750, and received training in the operation of the Roxer MAAI CN8 hand-setting machine, Aquapress and Natator 40, and Witschi Micromat C, Chronoscope M10 and Proofmaster. I also undertook the BHI short course in servicing hand-wound mechanical movements at the beginning of 2020.My impact was not, however, limited to assembling watches. I was always at the leading edge of the development and stream-lining of Bremont’s processes, whether through the early adoption of new tooling and machinery or the assembly structure itself. I volunteered to represent the brand in a sales capacity at Henley Regatta, and put myself forward to assist in Bremont’s nascent tour experience, decisions that highlighted my potential outside of the workshop.
