About Weston Aenchbacher

Weston Aenchbacher previously worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the School of Computer Science and Statistics at Trinity College Dublin, performing research in computer graphics and vision. There, he contributed to the EU Horizons 2020 Project 'Smart Assets for re-Use in Creative Environments' (SAUCE), creating tools for manipulation and presentation of light field data for use in experimental film production. Additionally, he developed methods for calibrating a commercial light field camera so that it could be used for distance estimation and scale 3D scene reconstruction. He has previously worked on has worked on a broad range of topics, from retinal imaging, terahertz spectroscopy, and engineering education.
