I was selected to open, lead, and drive new engineering headquarters in support of Entergy's resiliency infrastructure redesign program, including creating and driving ideation for contract bids in this program and others. I engage in managing a group of engineering supervisors, and their teams, to ensure seamless operation and compliance with regulations, codes, and standards while establishing and staffing the New Orleans headquarters.

Montreaux Jewelers was a super high end jewelry design firm specializing in colored stones and conducting business mostly as a private label manufacturer. Jos. A. Bank is a nationwide chain of Men’s clothiers. I was an assistant manager and keyholder at the Winter Park, Florida location. I would regularly help in scheduling, prospecting, and would aid in hiring. I also regularly held the highest repeat clientele, highest units per transaction, and highest gross in the store.

I worked in the men's furnishings department which consists of shirts, ties, belts, pocket squares, wallets, sun glasses, luggage, socks, and underwear. This also includes a selection of custom and made to measure shirts, ties, and belts. I was expected to partake in a number of tasks that involved far more than basic sales. For instance, our manager, Tony, expected us to help with merchandising in the department. This included the department layout, where each product is located, shirt and tie display combinations, and creative folds. I have worked there since late August 2008.

I worked at Hollister Co. for two years prior to my hire at Nordstrom. This was my first endeavor in the world of retail, and it showed me how much i absolutely adored helping people find products that worked best for them. The term model was Hollister's creative title for their sales associates, and did not require any actual modeling. It did however require my interaction with the store's customers and operation of a cash register on a daily basis. I was hired, at first, as an impacter (stock room team member), but, after working hard and showing dedication, i was also given the duties of a model. On any given day, i would process shipment, fold merchandise for the sales floor, help a customer, assist them in checking out, provide a great fitting room experience, refill sold merchandise out on the sales floor, and do floor audits. I received two promotions while working for the company, but after two years I wanted something commission based.
