Young, creative and determined designer who is keen on grabbing every possible opportunity that crosses his path; That is me!I am currently employed as mechanical engineer at Delfort AG/Tervakoski Oy paper mill.My passion is on everything 3D, be it modelling, printing or anything else related to it. I enjoy immensely 3D-modeling, working in CAD environment and I love spending time solving design problems and pouring contents of my brain and ideas into the screen in form of functioning designs, models and drawings. Seeing your own designs and creations come to reality is also very important, which is why I am very interested in rapid prototyping and additive manufacturing methods like 3D-printing, as I feel that these are key technologies and tools for every designer. In the past I have worked as entrepreneur and subcontracted designer, mainly developing and concept designing parts and mechanisms for locking systems amongst the other smaller projects. I am familiar with few of different 3D-modeling and CAD software, but I have been mainly utilizing PTC Creo Parametric, and have also decent amount of experience in Autodesk 3ds Max. Rapid manufacturing methods are familiar to me, and I am used to work with slicing programs. Lately I have also gained knowledge on how to utilize point cloud data as part of planning and design processes in industrial environment.I use my free time on many different activities, such as fishing, boating, reading, cooking and listening to music. Summertime I usually spend relaxing in the countryside. I am also avid reader and bit of an history buff too. I like absorbing knowledge and topic(s) on new and emerging technologies, space, sciences and of course history are near and dear to me.
