I manage a portfolio of programs across a variety of DOD and DHS customers and at the US Patent Office. I retired from the National Guard as the Company First Sergeant for the Military Intelligence company of the 116th Brigade Combat Team. I held this position from September 2012 until my retirement in January 2013. As the Company First Sergeant I managed and coordinated the training and personnel actions of the three MI company platoons and the eighty plus service members.As the Platoon Sergeant for the ISR platoon, I supervised the operation and training readiness for four of the platoon's sections and the personnel readiness for the 25 service members. I coordinated with the platoon leader to develop training plans and ensure that training was held to standards. My goal was to provide a fully trained platoon to support the intelligence needs of the 116th BCT, prepared to meet all mission requirements.

As a Program Manager, I managed the day to day requirements of managing multiple contracts. These duties include monitoring the financials for multiple contracts and supervising the billing and invoicing of clients generating almost twenty million dollars in annual revenue. I was also responsible for coordinating support for nearly 70 employees located in Kuwait, Afghanistan, Germany, and in the National Capital Region. I was also responsible for inter-departmental coordination and staffing for all contracted positions. As a Senior Geo-spatial Analyst I used the intelligence process to produce geospatially enabled intelligence products that enhance criminal investigations and intelligence initiatives for a US Government client. Requirements or requests for support were coordinated with Government supervisors and the requesting agency. I began each request by generating an analytic question and then validated and clarified the requirements with the requesting agency. Next I developed and tested the hypothesis by extracting data from multiple classified and unclassified sources. The process I used to test the hypothesis includes building individual or multiple Boolean queries to confirm or deny the hypothesis. Because the queries often returns results yielding thousands to hundreds of thousands of rows of data from multiple sources I often had to use MS Access or Excel to normalize and clean the returned data. When the hypothesis proved to be valid I then moved on to begin analysis and product production. Should the hypothesis prove invalid, then I returned to the planning and direction step and to begin anew and developing another hypothesis. During the analysis and production step the I used various tools to generate geo-spatial models. I primarily employed ArcGIS Model Builder to combine distinct geo-spatial tools to produce inductive predictive models, based on past events, to predict future occurrences. These models resulted in the visualization of thousands of lines of data into an info-graphic. The info-graphic were then presented to the customer to answer specific investigative or analytic questions.

After leaving the active army I joined the Texas National Guard. In the Guard I have served as a Brigade Intelligence Analyst. Deployed to Bosnia as a division level Operations Sergeant for the 49th Armored Division. I also served as a readiness NCO and managed budget, training promotion and education requirements for a 40 man unit. I now serve in the State Joint Headquartrers J3 Directorate. In addition to providing forward looking intelligence products I also support mission planning. I have briefed the Texas Adjutant General on numerous occasions.

I provided analytic and operational support to multi-jurisdictional law enforcement operations.

I created a gepspatial database and managed the merging of existing data into the new database that would locate and display GWOT detainee information. I briefed senior organizational leadership with regard to patterns and trends. I coordinated with investiging agents to generate geospatial support packages.

I served as the Special Projects Team Chief for the Coalition Provisional Authority (CPA) Counter Intelligence Office in Baghdad, Iraq. I reviewed various information to aid with identifying threats trends and patterns. I edited and wrote numerous reports and tailored informational products to inform and mitigate threats. Finally, I served as a liaison between our office and several other U.S. Government agencies.

I reviewed multi-source reports to identify individuals involved in organized crime and corrupt law enforcement officials who posed a potential Counter-intelligence or Terrorist threat in North East Bosnia. I conducted liaison with the Criminal Investigative Unit of the Office of the High Representative for Bosnia (OHR) to investigate and prosecute national and regional level criminals and corrupt law enforcement officials. I brief the Division Commander and his staff regarding crime & corruption and its interrelationship with the Bosnian political structures.
