Integration into the corporate network of three other subsidiaries (Gorizia, Sessa Aurunca (CE), Zarnesti in Romania) with installation and sharing of corporate functions. The chosen ERP runs on a Linux machine with db Informix.

Coordination of operations on ERP and Help Desk, drafting and management of IT and IS expenditure budgets. Exchange of the entire corporate IS with Baan, that of the parent company Flextronics, located in California and used in a dedicated private network, supported on an Oracle data base running on a Linux cluster. Among the various systems set up, an intra-company repository used by the affiliates to distribute warehouse inventories in the best possible way, a help-desk for all users developed internally and functioning via the Internet, the physical reordering of warehouse materials with chaotic logic, the parametrization of MRP and MPS parameters to respond to the company dictates of Lean Manufacturing with particular regard to the reduction of the crossing time (measured in hours). A substantial part of the projects was also intended to make up for Baan's shortcomings regarding the administrative / accounting management which, being based on American legislation, was badly applied to the numerous Italian tax obligations (e.g. the Italian Intrastat declaration was not even contemplated) as well as obviously the one-off problem of the changeover to the Euro.

The analyzes and studies, conducted in close contact with the company management, took the form of data extraction and processing reports that I personally produced using the SQL or C language. Of particular importance is the study done on the management of materials and production flows which led to the purchase, installation and management of Cyberplan, a special software for issuing company production plans.
