Technical Product Manager of a homegrown product built to manage the operations of GE's premier leadership programs. I have successfully facilitated and lead the prioritization of features for a diverse group of stakeholders to improve the product offering and grow the product adoption. As a member of the Customer Experience Team for GE Capital I worked as an internal consultant supporting various projects as an expert in Experience and Interaction Design. I supported a diverse range of projects and applications from Treasury, Helpdesk Services, and Commercial Real Estate. On any engagement my responsibilities included- Representing the user and advocating and teaching UX principles- Partnering with product and project manager to build Product Strategies and Vision- Performing user research utilizing interviews and observation- Designing and creating wireframes and prototypes using Axure- Documenting interaction requirements in UI specifications and other documentation as needed- Performing usability testing and presenting results to stakeholdersI also lead campus recruitment efforts with local Universities for UX talent, including developing a UX Apprenticeship program for local University students to gain practical job experience while in school and in summer internships.

For a six month rotation I lead an innovation initiative to improve how teams collaborate and share code and other components developed across the IT organization. In the six months I researched solutions, built a strategy for the product concept, coordinated with vendors, and ran a pilot program. Additionally I pitched to Senior Leadership and key stakeholders evangelizing and getting buy in and refinement of the idea. I delivered a plan and recommendations for moving forward with the initiative.

In this six month rotational assignment I acted as an analyst with GE Capitals legal team. I was tasked with working with the paralegal teams to find a better solution for managing processes and procedures with our legal entities. Through market research, product demos, stakeholder analysis, and cost benefits analysis I lead the team in finding a long term solution that worked for the organization.In addition I designed and managed the implementation of several improvements to the old application and supported several other third party applications used by the legal team.
