I led high-stake, large-scale enterprise ML projects at Scale. Our job was to build and maintain ML models in production.- Lead a team of high-caliber, driven, and enthusiastic ML engineers who are deeply invested in their work.- In charge of delivering trustworthy, high-quality data for many industry-leading companies. Our data production pipeline combined ML auto labeling, ML linting and human in the loop across various tasks (e.g., semantic segmentation, object detection, attribute extraction, etc.) and data modalities (Multimodal, Text, Video, 3D LIDAR, 2D imagery, OCR, etc.) We catered to a diverse range of client domains and their data taxonomies, such as e-commerce, autonomous vehicles, medical, banking, and robotics. - In addition to our commercial success, I invested considerable resources into making our work scientifically relevant and valuable to the ML community. This led to the team's publication of numerous dataset benchmarks, including Fitzpatrick 17k (CVPR '21 ISIC Honorable Mention), Debagreement (Neurips '21 benchmark), and Natural Adversarial Object (Neurips '21 Data-centric AI).- Hosted several tech talks at Scale, including ones about transformX, ML fairness, and RLHF before it gained wider recognition. I led the ML team across all data modalities until the team grew to more than 16. I was the first ML engineering manager and the first female engineering leadership at Scale. :)
