As Technical Director, Aernout is a member of the ONE-Dyas Management Team. He is responsible for non-operated asset management, exploration, subsurface, ESG and IT.He has ~20 years of experience in the oil & gas industry as a well rounded Geoscientist, Team Lead, Exploration Manager and now as the group Technical Director.His broad hands-on experience in Exploration (NFE, Green Field, Regional Exploration), Field development and Production (both New Fields as well as Mature Field Development/Infill Drilling) has given him the strong required foundation for his current role. He has a proven track record in opportunity generation, maturation, forming high performance teams and delivering results. HSSE is at the core of his way of working.Aernout is responsible within the MT for ESG. ONE-Dyas has an important role to play to bring the ONE-Dyas portfolio towards a near zero GHG footprint as soon as possible and contribute to the wider activities and debate around this topic. Aernout was a member of the steering committee setting up the ONE-Dyas ESG strategy, He is am excited to now be responsible for its role out and implementation. As the Group Exploration Manager for ONE-Dyas (merger between the two privately owned successful companies ONE and Dyas), I am responsible for all related Exploration and Appraisal activities, operated and non-operated, evaluation and NBD through to operations. Operated assets are located in the Netherlands and the UK. Non-operated assets are in Denmark, Norway, Malaysia and Gabon. As Exploration Director, I am responsible for the Dyas exploration strategy, budget and exploration portfolio.Besides this more generalistic role, I am also responsible for all Subsurface aspects of Dyas' development assets (Mariner, Catcher, Jackdaw, NL A&B blocks). I also provide in-depth G&G evaluations on new investment opportunities. It requires detailed geological and seismic evaluations (Petrel), as well as quick-look screenings of both exploration prospects and producing fields, with a high focus on value.A true mix of hands-off and hands-on day to day activities.Dyas is a non-operator and has a mixed portfolio of exploration, appraisal, development and producing assets in various stages of maturity. It holds assets in the UK, Dutch, and Danish North Sea (e.g. Buzzard, Golden Eagle, Catcher, Mariner, Stella, NL A&B Blocks), but also aims to grow in Norway and Malaysia. With a small, but highly experienced team, it ensures that the right decisions are taken to create maximum return for its shareholders.

As Asset Manager and Sr. Geologist, I am responsible for managing all aspects of certain licenses (T-OCM resposibility) as well as overseeing the Subsurface aspects of all development assets (Mariner, Catcher, Golden Eagle, Stella, NL A&B blocks) and certain Exploration assets. Besides this I provide in depth G&G evaluations on new investment opportunities. It requires detailed geological and seismic evaluations, as well as quick-look screenings of both exploration prospects and producing fields, with a high focus on value.

As Senior Exploration/Production Geologist, I am responsible for managing the G&G aspects of Dyas' Exploration and development portfolio, as well as ensuring high quality evaluations are performed on new investment opportunities. It requires detailed geological and seismic evaluations, as well as quick-look screenings of both exploration prospects and producing fields, with a great focus on value. This is where my full exploration and development G&G experience comes to bear, it allows me to be able to chase the right opportunity for Dyas.I also have TOCM responsibility for a number of exploration assets.

Besides my job as a production geologist for the Bugan, Iron Duke and Selangkir fields, I was also the Maturation and Execution Team Lead for these fields with 5 direct reports. I was responsible for the hydrocarbon maturation and execution of three fields with a total resource base of 500 mmboe. During my tenure, some 80 mmboe resources were added through appraisal and in-field exploration drilling, leaving the team with another 2 years of value-add rig activity.

I am responsible for the G&G aspect of the operations in the 'Phase 2' drilling campaign at the Bugan oil and gas field.The Bugan field will produce oil and gas from highly compartmentalized reservoirs through deviated and horizontally completed wells.This development phase will safeguard production targets for BSP in the coming years.

- Geoscientist team lead for 'Global Triassic project'. (Objective to reconstruct the earth, and make paleogeographic maps of Triassic times with the ultimate goal to support ongoing opp's and identify new opp's (5 fte))- Startup of several Thematic projects (e.g. Global Source Rocks and Horizons)- Responsible for screening of Global Exploration opportunities with a focus on North Africa and the Middle East.- Subsurface consultant for Algeria's 7th license round

- Evaluated numerous farmin opp's in Algeria, Libya, Tunisia, and Morocco- Subsurface G&G Lead on several blocks on offer in Libyan EPSA 4.3 license round

Responsible for subsurface screening of exploration farm-in opportunities, license rounds and pro-active government engagements in the following regions: - Russia (Timan Pechora, Barents Sea, Sea of Okhotsk (Sakhalin))- Bulgaria (Black Sea)

Work highlights entailed:- acquired Block F06, led subsurface farm-out process (full carry), well F06-3 drilled by PetroCanada in 2004, Dutch offshore- prepared NFE well Ameland Westgat 110 to FID, largest discovery of 2007 in Dutch sector (extension to Ameland Westgat gas Field)
