I have been part of the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) since 2005, focusing on economic inclusion. My career began at HBL Microfinance Bank Limited, where I held various roles over nearly seven years, including Product Development, Credit Management, and General Banking Operations. Since 2012, I have been working with the Aga Khan Rural Support Program, a key AKDN initiative, continuing my work in economic inclusion. As a motivated strategist, I specialize in designing and implementing projects aimed at fostering youth and women’s entrepreneurial mindset development, enhancing employability, and making markets work for the poor and vulnerable. My expertise spans initiatives in food security and livelihood development, green energy solutions, climate financing, community-based microfinance, and digital financial solutions to promote financial inclusion for unbanked youth and women. Additionally, I have developed access-to-finance solutions for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), driving sustainable growth in underserved communities.
