Collaborated with a team of 3 other programmers to develop a code base of Python and Node Js programs to run and control a Digital Surgical Visualization System (DSVS).Within the code base, wrote a speech recognition python program that received and processed user voice commands, and API call commands from a web user interface.Later converted code base, including speech recognition software, to Node JS.Developed a communication protocol for a microcontroller that received processed commands from the python program and controlled several sensors, LEDS, and motors.Presented and Demonstrated the DSVS to investors and potential clients, fielding questions, concerns, and suggestions.Hacked together a mobile battery solution that could power a pair of virtual glasses and a GPU that could be safely worn by a user.Worked side-by-side with the regulatory team to create risk management, and user instruction documentation.
