The SW PM manages and drives the software core team to achieve the project goals in terms of scope, timing and quality. To assure that the SW project is running according to the valid development processes and is accountable for all SW related, planning and tracking activities.+ Periodical as well as unscheduled report of the SW project status and - if necessary - to the responsible Project Manager in case of existing problems.+ Responsibility that all requirements which have been allocated to the SW are implemented in the SW-version to be released.+ Supervision of dates, the degree of fulfillment of the work packets and budget and report to the department leader.+ Contribution to the SW supplier performance evaluation process based on the project schedule.+ Calling and supervision of periodical SW project team resp. • Map tags from customer DCS or Historian to corresponding tags in the customer’s proprietary Blueprint software• Conduct design review with customer to review tag mapping results• Build predictive models by analyzing historical data and filtering out bad and fault-related data• Tune models of Gas Turbines, Steam turbines, Boiled Feed Pumps, HRSG, Condensers, air cooled generator, H2 generators, by adjusting operating thresholds and adding/removing operating data in the model• Run Quality Control statistical reports and update models to conform to standards• Throughout out the implementation process, communicate with the customer regarding the model content.• Daily reports • Interpretation of PI&Ds, electrical drawings, and one-line diagrams, HMIs.

Estuve involucrado en un proyecto llamado: "Análisis y mejora al proceso de obtención de fibra óptica" en el cual, un equipo de estudiantes obtendrían un modelo matemático de un horno utilizado para la manufactura de fibra óptica. El objetivo principal era mejorar la forma en la que CIDEC obtiene fibra óptica plástica usando ecuaciones diferenciales para obtener una solución numérica del sistema en cuestión.
